Bob has over 30 years of Life Sciences experience within Academia, the Biotech and Pharmaceuticals industry, and Consulting. He has held research and teaching positions at Harvard Medical School, Boston College, and SUNY; research and management positions at Incyte Genomics, Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Novartis, GeneLogic, and others; and Consulting positions at Deloitte, as well as boutique consulting firms. He has deep domain expertise in the drug discovery and development process, particularly in understanding the unique and rapidly evolving Informatics, Data Analytics, and Computational needs of Life Sciences R+D.
At Hawkins Point, Bob serves Life Sciences clients, specializing in providing Scientific Informatics solutions, both tactically and strategically. He is also on the Hawkins Point Advisory Council, helping to define the firm’s long-term goals in this sector of the industry.
Bob has a BS in Neuroscience from the University of Rochester, a PhD in Biological Sciences from the University of California-Irvine, and did post-doctoral work at UCI and Massachusetts General Hospital. Bob was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, and he and his wife are now empty-nesters living in Brookline, Massachusetts (although their cat gets highly offended when they say that).
