On January 7, Hawkins Point Partners recognized our third anniversary. We have experienced startup challenges, growing pains, and an intensely competitive market space. Probably the most rewarding aspect of our journey is the expression of gratitude that has come our way. Clients have conveyed appreciation for the great work we deliver and the manner in which we do it. Employees have voiced thanks for the fair and generous way in which we have rewarded their contribution. There has been much good will as we have built our brand.
Three and a half years ago when Hawkins Point Partners was just an idea, we asked for help. We invited those whom we knew shared our core values about culture. They had each been trusted advisors to us in our past. This group of talented and accomplished professionals invested their time in our relationship, and provided an impartial, independent perspective to our business endeavor. They offered their experience and expertise, expanded our perspective, and stimulated our creativity and intellect. We thank them and the contributions they make to our success.
Tom Basiliere – a reliable “breakfast” partner who always had wisdom and savvy, and a CIOs intellectual curiosity.
Jeffrey Cohen – a valuable CIO perspective on both our core value system and the language we use to describe it.
Bill Hazelton – our most trusted and long time mentor, whose leadership example, guidance, and friendship has been invaluable .
Dan Hoover – our close friend and trusted colleague, advised us to “be organic”, to take advantage of opportunities we would not anticipate.
Andrea Mercier – was in the trenches with us from the start, and showed that commitment to the client relationship is the foundation of our firm.
Mark Rodman – whose awareness and understanding of starting, running, and growing a small business gave us ideas and comfort.
Ursula Soritsch-Renier – provided straightforward, critical thinking about what we should deliver and why it would matter.
Ray Pawlicki – encouraged us to take the leap, and has long been a model as to what it means to be a leader.
Thank you to this group of true professionals. We are grateful for your belief in us and your ongoing, generous support and time.
